Answering the Call
I love the church. Since I was a teenager I have never waned in commitment to the church or hope for its future.
Believe me, I also know the dark side of the church. I know its history. I know its flaws – up close and personal. I am one of its flaws.

Today’s sermon title, “How to Dance,” would not have been used in the church of my youth – EVER. But it’s very appropriate for Psalm 30, one of the Bible’s dancing passages.

Pastor Bill’s Ten Years
In 2006 Linda and I had the privilege of traveling to Europe. We brought back some small gifts to various friends and family members. Somehow nothing seemed “right” for Pastor Bill. So I made him a plaque about his service in the Navy.
