God puts his likeness on the likes of you and me. Matthew 22:15-22 October 16, 2010 Money, money, money Some sermons don’t exactly turn out the way you thought they would. This one was supposed to be about money.  Giving, really.  It didn’t end up going in that direction.  Not entirely, anyway.

DEVOTIONS Are you kidding me?  Did Jesus really say that? Reading through the gospels is giving me moments like that almost every day.  But this week’s reading startled me with a Jesus-saying that I could almost swear has been added to the Bible since the last time I read it. 

Linda and I tithe.   I sometimes feel guilty about that.  Let me tell you why, and then tell you why I don’t preach much about tithing.
