I think I like this book on spiritual intimacy because I’m not very good at it. I’m good at busyness, I’m good at tasks, I’m good at keeping human machinery running. I’m not good at intimacy.

Power from the pulpit
You can probably imagine that this is a sermon I’ve looked forward to all week. There’s a lot of power in the phrase, “Obey Your Pastor.”
Saturday Morning
Time to go home. Overall, this was a good meeting. The attendance was a little low for a conference meeting, but that’s typical for meetings in Eastern Virginia. I am more encouraged than I’ve been in a decade that ECOTs are welcome, wanted, and heard.
FWC Lunch
